Jay Hunt graduated from the Sommelier program in May 2005 and is Past-President of the National Capital Sommelier Guild. He previously worked part time as an independent wine consultant assisting restaurants by selecting wines for their wine list that match their menu and clientele, preparing tasting notes and food pairing suggestions for their menu, advising them on inventory and cellar management, and training their serving staff. He also conducted public tastings as fundraising events for local charities.
