Tim DavisTim Davis is living and working in Paris, fulfilling a lifelong dream. His part-time involvement in the wine industry extends back many years; he served as the Area Secretary for the Opimian Society in the 80s and has led tastings and tours in France and in North America. After graduation from the Sommelier Program he served for several years as Director, then President, of the National Capital Sommelier Guild (NCSG). He is a Director of Ottawa’s outstanding restaurant Beckta Dining and Wine and a Governor of the NCSG. In France, he delights in impressing restaurant owners, cavists and other wine lovers with top Canadian wines. He cautions though that “to be taken seriously, Canadian wines must be presented blind to a French taster”.
