Opening wineAn in-depth course of study that introduces you to the practical duties of a Sommelier. The extensive tasting component focuses on current Vintages’ releases. Learn techniques needed to properly control a wine and spirit cellar. Develop a wine list, learn pricing principles and marketing techniques all toward the goal of maximizing beverage sales. Further expand your confidence in suggesting complimentary food and wine combinations in preparation for the service exam. Evaluation includes assessing your ability to carry out the practical duties of a Sommelier.

Prerequisite(s): HOS5027 and HOS5148 and HOS5158 and HOS5162 and HOS5163 and HOS5164
