Thursday, 14 September 2006, 7:00 p.m. Join the National Capital Sommelier Guild (NCSG) to celebrate a local success story while supporting wine education. Attend the premiere screening of Food Network TV’s, “This Food, That Wine”, hosted by Ottawa-based Sommelier, Stacey Metulynsky, and Chef Angie MacRae. You will meet them both at this gala event. Stacey is co-founder of Groovy Grapes, resident sommelier and instructor at Urban Element and graduate of the Algonquin College Sommelier Certificate Program. In 2004, Stacey was the recipient of the NCSG Scholarship for Wine Education. Angie is a graduate of Stratford Chefs School. Like Stacey, she takes a fun approach to food, whether everyday meals or special events for the diplomatic community. Don’t miss the opportunity to bid for fabulous wine and dining experiences, overnight getaways and wine paraphernalia in the silent auction. Enjoy morsels of gourmet food prepared by the Chelsea Club’s chef Sean Murphy and taste premium wines throughout the evening. Revenues from this evening support NCSG scholarships. These scholarships assist dedicated oenophiles to become successful in the challenging and exciting world of wine and wine education. Price per person: $45 + $2.70 (GST) = $47.70 Register online at: http://www.mollyguard.com/event/34817139 |
