Love everything Italian? Head for DiVino Wine Studio on Preston Street on February 9 where owner/Sommelier Antonio Mauriello, Algonquin Sommelier Professor, orchestrates a four-course, five-wine extravaganza.
David Loan, Zen Kitchen’s owner/Sommelier, also an Algonquin Grad, is hosting celebrity chef, Caroline Ishii and Shauna White, assistant winemaker at Ravine winery for a gourmet, four-course vegetarian meal with matching wine on Somerset West. The East India Company, also on Somerset West, has owners/Sommeliers, Algonquin grads, Nitin and Anish Mehra conducting a cooking demo and a knock-out 17 course buffet followed by a restaurant tour showcasing four-hundred-year-old artifacts.
Looking for something on the wild side? Atlelier on Rochester Street’s the ticket – on February 11 there’s a crazy 12-course, mind-blowing, blind tasting menu with accompanying beverages fashioned by Algonquin Sommelier grad, owner/chef Marc Lepine and his hot young Sommelier - of course he’s an Algonquin grad - Steve Robinson.
